ISB scholarships are broadly classified into four categories:

  1. Scholarships Supported by ISB

ISB-funded scholarships primarily focus on merit, diversity, and financial need. Most of these do not require a separate application and are awarded based on the admission profile.

Merit-Based Scholarships

  • Prof. Manasa Mandava Memorial Scholarship
    Awarded to a high-merit woman candidate. Covers 50% of tuition fees, disbursed in two tranches during the program.
  • ISB Merit Waiver
    Automatically awarded to high-performing applicants. Covers 25% to 100% of tuition fees.

Diversity-Based Scholarships

  • ISB Merit by Diversity Waiver
    For candidates from diverse academic or professional backgrounds with strong merit.
  • International Diversity Waiver
    For applicants holding an international passport and demonstrating high merit.
  • AIESEC–ISB Waiver
    Available to candidates with AIESEC experience. Requires an essay and proof of association. Covers 25% of tuition fees.
  • Bridge to India Waiver
    For professionals currently working abroad who plan to return to India. Covers 25% of tuition fees.
  • Armed Forces Scholarship
    Honours armed forces personnel with a 50% tuition fee waiver.

Need-Cum-Merit Scholarships

  • ISB Need-cum-Merit Waiver (Income up to INR 8 lakhs)
    Covers 100% of tuition fees. Requires an essay and income proof.
  • ISB Need-cum-Merit Waiver (Income INR 8–20 lakhs)
    Covers 75% of tuition fees, subject to documentation.

  • Bajaj Auto Scholarship – 100% tuition waiver for top merit candidates
  • Taparia Family Scholarship – Full tuition waiver worth INR 25.62 lakhs
  • Deepak Parayanken Tuition Waiver – Scholarship amount of INR 15 lakhs, with at least one award reserved for women
  • Alumni Endowment Fund Tuition Waiver – Covers 25% of tuition fees

Need & Diversity-Based Donor Scholarships

  • Anonymous Donor Need-cum-Merit Scholarships – Covers 25% to 100% of tuition fees
  • Ramesh C. Khanna Nurture India Scholarship – For students who are sole earning members of their family
  • Ishwar Prakash Agarwal Scholarship – For differently-abled candidates or women returning to work after a career break
  • Visiting Faculty Scholarship – Awarded to one international student annually

Most donor scholarships do not require a separate application unless explicitly stated.

  1. Scholarships for Graduating ISB Students
  • ISB Develop India Scholarship
    Designed for graduating students pursuing careers in social impact startups, NGOs, development sectors, or public service. The scholarship supports loan EMIs for up to 24 months and is paid directly to the student’s loan account.

ISB also offers scholarships specifically for international applicants:

  • ISB Merit Waivers – 25% to 100% tuition fee waiver for non-Indian origin applicants
  • ISB–AIESEC Scholarship – 25% tuition fee waiver for AIESEC alumni

  • La Caixa & Casa Asia Scholarship – For Spanish nationals
  • Talentia Scholarship – For Andalusian applicants

Selection is primarily based on admission merit, essays, and eligibility criteria set by the sponsoring organization.
